The Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association’s mission is to maintain and promote the downtown business district as defined by the Property & Business Improvement District #2. To accomplish this mission, the TDPOA has several programs and services available to our downtown property and business owners.

The City of Turlock contacts with a landscaping company through the Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association to maintain the downtown streetscape. Sidewalks and parking lots are cleaned twice a month, landscaping and sprinklers are maintained, along with regular trash and graffiti removal are done to keep our downtown looking great. If you notice issues near your property or business, please report them to the Turlock Downtown so that they can be addresses as soon as possible.

Property and Business Owners can utilize the Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association’s public information program. Spreading the word about new and exciting products or events within your business is easy. Turlock Downtown will distribute your information to local media outlets for consideration. In addition, all special events, sales, classes and other items of news will be posted on www.turlockdowntown.org for easy access by the public.

Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association will publish the Downtown Turlock Brochure & Business Guide. All downtown retail businesses, restaurants, and professional offices will be listed in the brochure which will include a handy locator map. This information will also be posted on www.turlockdowntown.org and updated annually.

Advertising can be a very big expense for a small business owner. The Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association’s program is designed for multiple businesses to buy into an advertising plan to help make everyone’s advertising dollar count. The program includes direct mail, internet, print ads, billboards and more running on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for consistent exposure to potential customers. The current program is designed to run from July ’06 to June ’07 with 12-16 advertising partners. Call TDPOA to receive more information.

Find out what's happening downtown! The Turlock Telegraph newsletter is published on a monthly/ bimonthly schedule. It is mailed to property owners, business owners and any other business or individual with an interest in programs and activities in downtown.

Monthly Merchant Mingles give our downtown neighbors an opportunity to share feedback and information or just to get to know each other. Mingles are held throughout downtown on the second Tuesday of every month. Call TDPOA to book a mingle at your business or property.
